Softball Recap: Lyman Memorial Takes a Loss

Wheeler hit Lyman Memorial with a four-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs lost 9-2 to the Lions. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lyman Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Wheeler, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-6.

Coming up, Lyman Memorial will take on Ledyard at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wheeler, they will square off against Norwich RVT at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
