Basketball Recap: Chassell Comes Up Short

Chassell was the 55-49 winner over Wright when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Chassell Panthers took a blow against the Wright Red Devils on Thursday, falling 75-46.

Chassell has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Wright, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Chassell will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wakefield at 7:15 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Wright has already played their next contest, a 51-44 loss against Hurley on the 20th.
