Softball Game Preview: Bishop Alemany Warriors vs. Immaculate Heart Pandas

The Bishop Alemany Warriors will face off against the Immaculate Heart Pandas at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Alemany will be strutting in after a victory while Immaculate Heart will be coming in after a defeat.

Bishop Alemany's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Flintridge Sacred Heart as they made off with a 6-0 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Tologs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The result came thanks to Kalie Peralta's shutout, as she gave up just three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kai Iiagan, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one double. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlotte Riggen, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Immaculate Heart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 28-10 to Marymount.

Bishop Alemany's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Immaculate Heart, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything went Bishop Alemany's way against Immaculate Heart in their previous meeting on April 8th, as Bishop Alemany made off with a 20-1 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Pandas have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
