Basketball Recap: Antlers Comes Up Short

Antlers lost against Rock Creek back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Antlers Bearcats took a blow against the Rock Creek Mustangs, falling 48-17. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 398th, while the Mustangs are ranked 190th).

Antlers dropped their record down to 5-12 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Rock Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Antlers wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 80-46 defeat against Wright City on the 4th. Rock Creek has also already played their next contest, a 46-42 win against Moyers on the 4th.
