Wauseon's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hicksville Aces. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Indians have posted against the Aces since August 22, 2019.

Wauseon's got stronger as the match went on, holding Hicksville to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-15.

Marin Leatherman paced Wauseon's offense, picking up four kills. Leatherman got some help from Braelyn Rupp and her six assists. Anaya Gonzales controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

The victory got Wauseon back to even at 2-2. As for Hicksville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Wauseon will host Toledo Christian at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hicksville, they will venture away from home to square off against Hilltop at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
