Volleyball Recap: Camden County Falls to Effingham County in First Game of Season

Camden County had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Effingham County Rebels by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Rebels: they've now lost three in a row.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Camden County sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 21-25, 15-9.

Coincidentally, Camden County and Effingham County will both be playing Islands the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Sharks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rebels will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
