Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy). They never let the LaGrange Gators get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Tigers with their most commanding win of the season.

Jaquelle Smith was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Noah White was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jacourey Duhon, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3.

Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-16. As for LaGrange, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-22.
