Football Game Preview: Holly Pond vs. Locust Fork

On Friday Holly Pond take on Locust Fork at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game.

Holly Pond had a rough outing against Fultondale two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Holly Pond put the hurt on Danville with a sharp 28-6 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Holly Pond had established a 28-6 advantage.

Meanwhile, Locust Fork didn't have too much trouble with Southeastern last Friday as they won 40-20.

Their wins bumped Holly Pond to 4-2 and Locust Fork to 2-4. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Holly Pond and Locust Fork clash.
