Sussex Tech faced Milford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Ravens blew past the Buccaneers 15-5. Considering the Ravens have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Sussex Tech is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Milford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sussex Tech will take on Sussex Central at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Ravens' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Milford, they will square off against Dover at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Senators will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Buccaneers surely won't give up without a fight.
