Volleyball Recap: William Penn Comes Up Short

William Penn lost against Eastern York back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bearcats came up short against the Golden Knights, falling 3-0. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

William Penn couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Eastern York a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-28, 25-14, 25-22.

William Penn's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Eastern York, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. William Penn will venture away from home to challenge Central York at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastern York, they will head out to face off against Ephrata at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Knights are facing the Mountaineers at the right time seeing as the Mountaineers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
