Basketball Recap: Sacred Heart Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sacred Heart can now relate to. They took a 34-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillsboro Trojans on Friday. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in March of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for Sacred Heart and nudges their season record down to 9-7-2. As for Hillsboro, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-7.

As of now, neither Sacred Heart nor Hillsboro have any future games scheduled.
