Basketball Recap: St. Patrick's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

St. Patrick can finally bid farewell to their 15-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Cornerstone Christian Academy Bulldogs as the St. Patrick Saints made off with a 52-32 win. The Saints' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

St. Patrick's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

St. Patrick will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Beth Haven at 12:00 p.m. on January 11, 2025.
