 South Eugene was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 7-1 walloping at the hands of the Roseburg Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to South Eugene of the  3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  on Saturday.
 For Roseburg's part,  ARRIANA BELLIOR spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up six Ks.
 At the plate,  ELLA MARTINEZ and  CIERRA SINGLETON did most of the damage at the plate:  MARTINEZ  went 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI, while  SINGLETON  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.  MASYN TABOR was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
 South Eugene's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Roseburg, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Eugene will  challenge Willamette at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. South Eugene is facing Willamette at the right time seeing as Willamette is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for Roseburg, they will head out on the road to  take on  Grants Pass at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
