St. Johns hadn't done well against Chino Valley recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Redskins put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 6-1 win. Considering St. Johns have won five matches by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the fourth in a row for St. Johns, bringing their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those four contests. As for Chino Valley, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.
