Basketball Recap: Harmony Science Academy Comes Up Short

Harmony Science Academy played against Bowie and lost via forfeit.

Despite the loss, Harmony Science Academy still got an impressive performance from Carlos Ceballos, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Aiden Ochoa, who posted 11 points.

Johan Camacho was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 20 rebounds for Bowie. That makes it three consecutive games in which Camacho has scored at least a third of Bowie's points. Derek Montanez was another key player, putting up ten points and four steals.

Harmony Science Academy's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-14. As for Bowie, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-12.

Harmony Science Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 40-34 defeat against Cathedral on the 31st. As for Bowie, they have also already played their next matchup, an 84-25 win against Harmony School of Innovation on the 31st.
