Soccer Recap: Woodland Comes Up Short

Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 7-2 to the Columbia River Rapids. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Columbia River this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in March.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-3. As for Columbia River, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodland will challenge R.A. Long at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Columbia River, they will face off against Puyallup at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Columbia River are on a five-game streak of home wins, Puyallup a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
