For the first time this season, Chicago Christian will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Timothy Christian Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Chicago Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Last Monday, Chicago Christian came up short against Andrew and fell 12-7.

Josh Sedakis was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. He also hit two doubles, marking his first of the season. Matt Rashan was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Timothy Christian also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Wheaton Academy by a score of 6-3. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Timothy Christian saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Bullard, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Chicago Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for Timothy Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Chicago Christian couldn't quite finish off Timothy Christian in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 and fell 11-9. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
