Recap: Ignite Athletics Flames vs. Hannan Wildcats
The Ignite Athletics Flames suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They were beaten by Hannan 90-45. Ignite Athletics has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Ignite Athletics still got an impressive performance from Trevor Bailey, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bailey has scored all season. Will Whittington was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds.
Ignite Athletics bumped their record down to 1-12 with that loss, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Hannan, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ignite Athletics will square off against Elk Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Elk Valley Christian is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. Hannan will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Calvary Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th.
