Soccer Game Preview: North Forney vs. Longview

North Forney hasn't had much luck against Longview recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The North Forney Falcons will venture away from home to face off against the Longview Lobos at 7:15 p.m.

North Forney is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They fell just short of Rockwall by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 555th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 77th).

Meanwhile, Longview waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Jackrabbits onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. That's two games straight that the Lobos have won by just one goal.

Longview's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for North Forney, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7-2.

North Forney might still be hurting after the 5-0 defeat they got from Longview in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can North Forney avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
