Basketball Recap: Sequoyah Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dale, Sequoyah was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 62-61 photo finish over the Wagoner Bulldogs. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 57-41 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Sequoyah has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.9 points per game. As for Wagoner, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.

Sequoyah has already played their next match (against Non Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wagoner will welcome Locust Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
