Grayson County waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 59-52 victory over the Galax Maroon Tide. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 73-53 back in January.

Grayson County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maverik Goad, who went 8-for-20 en route to 24 points and three steals. Goad has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ben Hill, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 20 points.

Grayson County's record is now 12-5. As for Galax, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

Grayson County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 76-60 defeat against Fort Chiswell on the 20th. Galax does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
