Softball Recap: Ganado Comes Up Short

Ganado lost against Monument Valley back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hornets lost 14-4 to the Mustangs. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ganado's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Monument Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Ganado will square off against rival Chinle at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Monument Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Window Rock at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in the Mustangs' favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while the Fighting Scouts have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
