Thunderbird waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 53-45 victory over the Youngker Roughriders. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Roughriders, too.

Hayden Williams and Ares Chambers certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Williams posted 15 points, while Chambers scored 17 points. Williams is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Oscar Guerrero was another key player, putting up seven points.

Thunderbird is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-9 record this season. As for Youngker, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thunderbird will venture away from home to challenge Paradise Honors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Paradise Honors' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Youngker, they are taking a road trip to face off against Carl Hayden Community at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carl Hayden Community is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69.1 points per game this season.
