Volleyball Recap: Belmont Takes a Loss

Belmont and Attleboro squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Belmont had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bombardiers, falling 3-0. The Marauders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Belmont took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-21.

Attleboro can attribute much of their success to Sage Young, who had 15 digs and two assists.

Belmont's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Attleboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Belmont nor Attleboro have any future games scheduled.
