Football Recap: Sullivan Starts Season with Victory Against Arcola

Sullivan gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed past the Arcola Purple Riders to the tune of 61-6. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Redskins had established a 48-point advantage.

Among those leading the charge was Owen Smith, who rushed for 97 yards, and also threw for 68 yards and one TD. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 57 yards.
