Softball Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 22-10 to the Neshoba Central Rockets. Even if the Falcons couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Neshoba Central, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Neshoba Central beat Columbus by a score of 17-2 later that day.
