Soccer Recap: St. Edward Takes a Loss

If St. Edward was feeling good fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Green Wave came up short against the Timothy Christian Trojans on Tuesday, falling 4-1. The loss continues a trend for St. Edward in their meetings with Timothy Christian: they've now lost four in a row.

St. Edward's goal came courtesy of Joslyn Hidalgo, who's now up to ten this season.

St. Edward's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Timothy Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, St. Edward and Timothy Christian will both be playing Marian Central Catholic the next time they take the pitch. The Trojans will head out to face the Hurricanes at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Green Wave will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
