Soccer Recap: Sweetwater Comes Up Short

Sweetwater lost against Pecos back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sweetwater Mustangs came up short against the Pecos Eagles, falling 5-2. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Braxton Bartee and Tapley Allen scored both of Sweetwater's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Sweetwater's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Pecos, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Coincidentally, Sweetwater and Pecos will both be playing Estacado the next time they take the pitch. Sweetwater will head out to face Estacado at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Pecos will host them at 5:30 p.m. on March 4th.
