Boys Top 10

1. Andy Kerkman, Clearwater/Orchard, 6-7 Jr. C

18 points, 22 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, 11 blocked shots
Kerkman's performance, as you can see, was crucial in keeping the Class D1 top-ranked Cardinals (9-0) undefeated by defeating No. 5 Humphrey St. Francis (10-1) 54-44. The loss was St. Francis' only loss in 11 games.

2. Micheel Colton, Crawford, 6-5 Sr. SF
21 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, 10 blocked shots
Triple-doubles are hard to come by, but there have been several in Nebraska this year. Colton and the Rams (4-8) traveled over the South Dakota state line and dealt Edgemont a 65-57 loss behind the shooting, rebounding and swatting of Colton.

3. Seyler Monroe, Silver Lake (Roseland), 6-1 Sr.
30 points, 18 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, 5 blocked shots
Monroe was a huge winner on the court, and so were the Mustangs, following the senior's huge offensive and defensive night in a 63-55 win over Heartland Lutheran.

4. Dillan Wolfgram, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge (Laurel), 6-2 Jr. G
41 points, 14 rebounds, 5 steals, 4 assists
Although the Bears did fall short 78-70 at Crofton on opening night, Wolfgram gave basketball fans in the area plenty to talk about with his ability to fill up the bucket. But his game didn't stop there.

5. Noah Vasa, Lourdes Central Catholic (Nebraska City), 6-8 Sr. F
24 points, 19 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 5 blocked shots
The play of Vasa has been crucial to the Knights' 9-1 start, and No. 3 Class D1 ranking on the season. The senior may have played his most complete game in a December 50-30 win over Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer.

6. Nathan Woodrum, Sioux County (Harrison), 6-0 Sr. G
30 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 9 steals, 2 blocked shots
Woodrum came oh so close to the Top 10's third triple-double, but fell just short in a 65-62 win over Cody-Kilgore. Still, a fine performance on both ends of the floor by one of the Warriors' (9-1) top-line players.

7. Tate Schmaderer, Stuart, 5-10 Jr. SG/PG
20 points, 6 rebounds, 22 assists, 4 steals
Schmaderer is one of three Nebraska boys basketball players to baffle his team's opposition with a double-20 performance. Offense was the name of his game whether he was scoring or putting a teammate in prime position to score. Throw in six rebounds and four steals during a 66-47 win over Niobrara/Verdigre and it's clear his performance belongs in the Top 10.

8. Creighton Ryan, Overton, 6-3 Sr. G/F
28 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 10 steals
When he wasn't scoring points in the Eagles' 60-53 win over Loomis, Ryan was busy swiping scoring opportunities from the Wolves.
