Football Recap: Lexington Eagles vs. East Bernard Brahmas
Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Lexington couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 45-21 to the East Bernard Brahmas on Friday. Despite 210 more yards than the Brahmas, the Eagles couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Loss or not, Lexington got some senior leadership from Weston Bayer and Kase Evans. Bayer picked up 101 receiving yards and one score, while Evans threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns.

Even if they lost, Lexington's defensive line still kept up the pressure with eight sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jason Cargill and Peyton Stevens, who racked up four sacks between them.
