Sam Rayburn fell victim to Collinsville and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Pirates. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost seven in a row.

Sam Rayburn's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Collinsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.
