Basketball Recap: Nevada Comes Up Short

Nevada lost against Prairie City-Monroe back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Nevada Cubs took a blow against the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs, falling 61-27.

Nevada has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Prairie City-Monroe, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Nevada has already played their next contest (against Perry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Prairie City-Monroe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-27 victory against South Hamilton on the 4th.
