Lincoln had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Gilroy Mustangs. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Lorenzo Collazo was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jonas Gamez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Gilroy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Lincoln will have a chance to go back-to-back against Gilroy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
