Valley had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They blew past the Bryce Valley Mustangs 45-25. The Buffalos pushed the score to 34-12 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs cut but never quite recovered from.

Loss or not, Bryce Valley got some senior leadership from Grace Leech and Cashae Tebbs. Leech posted 14 points, while Tebbs earned nine points and six steals. Tebbs has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.

Valley's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.7 points per game. As for Bryce Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
