Basketball Recap: Plumstead Christian Takes a Loss

Plumstead Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by the Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy Falcons 62-22. Plumstead Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-9.

Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kendall Bratten led the charge by going 7-for-12 to rack up 16 points along with seven boards and three steals. Bratten's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Malik Minor was another key player, putting up 15 points and eight rebounds.

Plumstead Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 18-8.

As of now, neither Plumstead Christian nor Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
