Basketball Game Preview: Dexter Demons vs. Ruidoso Warriors

Dexter hasn't had much luck against Ruidoso recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Dexter Demons will take on the Ruidoso Warriors at 5:30 p.m.

Dexter is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Friday. They took a 68-51 bruising from Tularosa.

Dexter's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Cj Granados, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and ten rebounds, and Matthias Salas, who posted 18 points and three steals. That was a full 54.9% of Dexter's points, marking the sixth time in a row Granados has put up more than a third of the team's points.

Meanwhile, Ruidoso beat New Mexico Military Institute 49-39 on Friday.

Ruidoso's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Dexter, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-17.

Dexter came up short against Ruidoso when the teams last played last Friday, falling 63-58. Can Dexter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
