Volleyball Recap: Lewis Cass Comes Up Short

Lewis Cass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Eastern Comets. The Kings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Comets from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-14.

Brooklynn Kraner paced Lewis Cass' offense, picking up seven kills. Kraner got some help from Presley Johnson and her 13 assists.

Savannah Smith was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 20 assists.

Lewis Cass' loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Eastern, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Lewis Cass wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Wabash on the 2nd. As for Eastern, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Clinton Prairie on the 30th.
