The Hopewell Vikings are taking a road trip to square off against the Quaker Valley Quakers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopewell is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 38.4 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Hopewell was beaten by Avonworth 48-14. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Antelopes recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Hopewell didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Vincent Boris and Zander Muzy. George Tafkov was another major factor on D, making 15 total tackles.

Meanwhile, Quaker Valley beat Valley 29-20 on Friday.

Quaker Valley's win came from a few key players Hopewell will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Atticus Barr, who threw for 86 yards and three TDs. Those three passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Hopewell's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Quaker Valley, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Hopewell strolled past Quaker Valley when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a score of 24-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
