They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Vandalia Christian. Brandon Lloyd was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit. Lloyd was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
