Basketball Recap: Tuloso-Midway Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tuloso-Midway can now relate to. They fell 47-34 to the Hidalgo Pirates on Tuesday. The Warriors & Cherokees were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Tuloso-Midway now has a losing record of 17-18. As for Hidalgo, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-10.

Tuloso-Midway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hidalgo, they will take on Brazosport on Friday. Brazosport knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Hidalgo likes a good challenge.
