Baseball Recap: Decatur's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Decatur dropped their record down to 19-3 on Saturday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Arundel Wildcats by a score of 6-5. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Seahawks of the 8-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2018.

As for Arundel, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games.

For Arundel's part, the team relied heavily on Jack Fuller, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs. Jacob Pruski also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

As of now, neither Decatur nor Arundel have any future games scheduled.
