Softball Recap: Boyd County Comes Up Short

The Boyd County Lions lost 11-1 to the Henderson County Colonels on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Lions have lost by exactly ten runs.

Boyd County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyli Kouns, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Boyd County and nudges their season record down to 21-13. As for Henderson County, their win bumped their record up to 27-4.

Looking ahead, Boyd County will host Johnson Central on Monday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Golden Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Henderson County, they will head out on the road to challenge Union County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
