Basketball Recap: Clear Falls Snags Sixth Victory in Last Eight Games

Clear Falls posted their closest win since December 7, 2023 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 63-61 victory over the Dickinson Gators. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-44 back in January.

Several Gators players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was David Chong, who posted 14 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Valin Idusuyi, who scored nine points and five rebounds.

Clear Falls has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Dickinson, they moved to 16-12 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clear Falls will host Clear Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Clear Lake will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Clear Falls surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dickinson, they will welcome Deer Park at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Dickinson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
