Baseball Recap: Sandpoint Bulldogs vs. Lake City Timberwolves
After losing to Lake City the last time they met, Sandpoint decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs skirted past the Timberwolves 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since April 11, 2024.
Mason Little was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
