Kaden Carter Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is Lamar County's Kaden Carter, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Carter made two total tackles (1.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 81 yards.
The win (which was Lamar County's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Carter and Lamar County will square off against Putnam County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Rashod Daniel Delivers Best Effort of Season
Putnam County was led to victory by Rashod Daniel, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Daniel rushed for 170 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He has become a key player for Putnam County: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.
This year, Daniel has run in 16 touchdowns while averaging 124.9 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 58.29 rushing yards per game.

Hardge Made His Presence Known in Social Circle's 38-19 Win
Jameccus Hardge's big game helped extend Social Circle's winning streak to three on Friday. Nobody could stop Hardge as he rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns.
If history really does repeat itself, Hardge might just drop another big game when he faces off against Jasper County on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Hardge saw the Hurricanes), he rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 37 yards and a touchdown.
