Baseball Recap: Needles Comes Up Short

Needles's tournament run continued when they took on Churchill County on Friday. The Needles Mustangs fell just short of the Churchill County Greenwave by a score of 5-4.

Brayden Baca was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Needles now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Churchill County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.

Looking ahead, Needles will challenge Fernley at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Churchill County, they will be taking part in a tournament against Holtville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
