Basketball Game Preview: Wiregrass Kings vs. Edgewood Academy Wildcats + How To Watch

Having just played yesterday, the Wiregrass Kings will jump right back in to play the Edgewood Academy Wildcats at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wiregrass' defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so Edgewood Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Monday, Wiregrass came up short against Abbeville Christian Academy and fell 52-42. The loss was the Kings' first of the season.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Avery Barnes, who posted 13 points and eight boards. Barnes is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Kelty, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, Edgewood Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Abbeville Christian Academy, falling 65-42.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wiregrass fell to 3-1. As for Edgewood Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
