Baseball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia came into this matchup off a tough 17-run loss last Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Vallivue Falcons by a score of 8-6 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since May 9, 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Columbia and nudges their season record down to 4-8. As for Vallivue, the win keeps they at an undefeated 11-0.

Meanwhile, Vallivue is set to take on their familiar foe Caldwell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Vallivue's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home while Caldwell has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
