Chelsea Academy entered their tilt with Immanuel Christian on Thursday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Immanuel Christian Warriors 59-29. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Warriors are ranked 334th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chelsea Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cici Wingate out in front who went 7-for-9 to rack up 16 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Wingate's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Barvick, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.

Chelsea Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points over those games. As for Immanuel Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Chelsea Academy has already played their next matchup, a 66-51 loss against Seton on the 14th. Immanuel Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
