Soccer Recap: St. Edward's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, St. Edward brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Bulls College Prep Bulls on Saturday. Lizzy Leadley had the honor of scoring the game-winner for St. Edward.

The win snapped St. Edward's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-6 record. As for Bulls College Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

St. Edward will be taking part in a tournament against Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bulls College Prep, they will take on Proviso East in a tournament on Monday. Bulls College Prep are facing Proviso East at the right time seeing as Proviso East are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
